The White Wolf Media Group is proud to bring to you one of Montanaʼs first and only Native radio station KGVA FM. Broadcasting from Fort Belknap, tune in as they discuss news, community issues, and deliver todayʼs American Indian tunes. www.kgvafm.org/

KGVA Radio Station was established in 1996 and officially went "On-Air" on October 29, 1996. The need for better communication and disseminating information not only within the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation but for the surrounding communities that lie in the adjacent areas sparked the fire to establish this needed service. The Fort Belknap College took on this challenge and pursued funding to build:

Association for American Indian Affairs (www.indian-affairs.org)

 Scholarships will be made available to Native students who are not formally enrolled in a federally-recognized tribe, students enrolled in a federally-recognized tribe, displaced homemakers, graduate or undergraduate students pursing a career in public health or science, students pursing a major in education, students pursuing a masters in art, public health, or law, and students interested in broadcast journalism.  In addition, funds are available for emergency assistance for students currently enrolled.

There are a  limited number of scholarships available.

DECEMBER 2008

We are sponsoring a local group called, "Helena Community Wellbriety Movement".  The group is working to provide local wellness opportunities to American Indians.  We are sponsoring a benefit supper in Helena on December 12, 2008 to raise money to help the movement.  The HCWM is affialiated with the www.whitebison.org.
